In this presentation I will briefly talk about differences between Active Galaxies and Normal galaxies. Then some characteristics of Active galaxies, their classifications. After that I will focus on a particular AGN type called Blazars. I will discuss some observed features, suggested models about these objects. Finally, I will present some indirect studies using Blazar observations e.g. extra-galactic background light, quantum gravity models etc.
