Search for the Standard Model scalar boson in the Zgamma decay channel in ATLAS

With the observation of the boson by both ATLAS and CMS, a rich program of precision measurements and stringent tests has begun. The search for the decay of the Standard Model scalar boson decaying to the Z+gamma final state is a new channel that provides a probe into new physics and couplings of the new boson. I will present the search for the scalar boson decaying to the Z+gamma final state, from initial conception to the complete analyses of the LHC Run 1 dataset at ATLAS.
