Description
abstract: LHC Run1 has given us no significant hint for supersymmetry, and our discovery hopes now lie with Run2, which offers a far greater access to massive sparticles. We are now working to design new searches that will be particularly relevant for Run2 energy and luminosity. In this talk, I will first summarize ATLAS and CMS sensitivity studies and discivery scenarios with 300 and 3000 fb-1 of future LHC data. I will then discuss new directions in SUSY searches for Run2, which include boosted objects, compressed spectra, non-prompt searches, VBF searches, searches using the top quark, and searches with new kinematic variables.
