Description
abstract: Supersymmetry remains the most popular extension to the Standard Model of particle physics and is the subject of many searches at the LHC. Here I will give an overview of the Run II searches from the ATLAS Collaboration with particular emphasis on the most recent results and those where small excess are present or were present in the early data. These initial Run II results significantly extend the reach of the experiments in their search for the strongly produced superpartners due to the larger center of mass energy, 13 TeV, compared to the 8 TeV 2012 Run.
