The Antares neutrino telescope in the Mediterranean Sea is taking data since 2008. Although significantly smaller, its field of view is complementary to the one of IceCube. Some recent results will be presented, including measurements of diffuse fluxes, various searches for point-like and extended neutrino sources, and multimessenger analyses. A much bigger neutrino telescope, KM3NeT, is under construction at two sites in the Mediterranean Sea. The status of construction, commissioning and interpretation of first data will be presented.
