Time to make a discovery! In this session, you will be working together to search for the first source of cosmic neutrinos using real IceCube data. Click on "Detailed view" on the top of the webpage to see more details of this session!

  1. 1. Working group session

    You will be divided into different small working groups. Each of these working groups will focus on an essential part of the analysis of the blazar galaxy TXS 0506+056.

  2. 2. Bringing the results together

    We will reunite, and each working group will show their conclusion to the whole group. Then we will combine all our results and find out if we can claim a discovery!

  3. 3. Phone call with UW Madison

    We will conclude by reporting our findings to the IceCube collaboration through a phone call with IceCube's headquarters, the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
