Description
Abstract: The nature of the so-called Dark Matter is one of the open questions of modern particle physics. Various extensions of the Standard Model have been proposed to introduce this Dark Matter.
This master thesis investigates one of these models: the Singlet Scalar Model (SSM). We concentrate on a mass range for the candidate motivated by the data of direct experiments (DAMA, CoGenT, etc).
We will constraint the SSM by comparing the predicted fluxes coming from the Galactic Center and from the Milky Way Dwarf Spheroidal Galaxies with the data of the satellite EGRET and, more recently, of the satellite FERMI.
