The origin and explanation of the observed flavour pattern in the Standard Model of particle physics are still intriguing open questions. Moreover, in the recent years flavour physics observables have displayed small but persistent deviations from the predictions of the Standard Model, hinting to the existence of new physics. In particular the recent measurements of LHCb have raised new questions and stimulated interesting developments and proposals.
The aim of this workshop is to bring together experts on flavour anomalies to discuss about the most recent experimental updates and their interpretations in new physics models. The workshop will be informal with large time dedicated to questions and discussions. Please register timely to the event since the number of participants is limited. The workshop will take place at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Pleinlaan 2, 1050 Brussels) in the Jean Sacton seminar room at the IIHE (1G003) List of confirmed speakers:
Dario Buttazzo (Zurich University)
Nazila Mahmoudi (Lyon University)
Jorge Camalich (CERN)
Patrick Koppenburg (CERN)
Luca di Luzio (Durham IPPP)
The workshop is supported by the Strategic Research Program HEP@VUB.
The workshop is part of a series HEP@VUB Crosstalk Workshops whose objective is to promote interdisciplinary activities across research groups in theoretical and experimental aspects of particle physics, astro-particle physics and high-energy astrophysics
