Description
The Belgian researchers together with the FWO and FNRS funding agencies welcome RECFA members in Belgium, please find below information for your accommodation, registration and travel. Accommodation and meeting venue: The venue for both the Open and Closed sessions of the RECFA visit to Belgium is hotel Le Plaza in Brussels, where we will have our lunches and RECFA dinner as well. We recommend RECFA members to book a room in this hotel using the form attached at the bottom of this indico page. To guarantee a room, the hotel should receive the form on March 20th latest. See details on the form itself. At the same time we ask RECFA members to register for participation by March 20th latest for the event on this indico page. For information, the website of the hotel Le Plaza: https://www.leplaza-brussels.be/en/ From Brussels Airport to the hotel: The easiest is to take the train at Brussels Airport to the "Brussels North" train station in the city center. This will cost around 10 euro and takes 10-15 minutes. There are frequent trains from the train station at the airport located on basement level -1 in the airport arrival building where you can buy tickets. Please check the information panels and/or ask when you buy the tickets which train can bring you to "Brussels North", usually this is the first stop for all trains going in the direction of Brussels. For more information on the train station at Brussels Airport, see attached link at the bottom of this indico page. From the "Brussels North" station you can simply walk to the hotel in about 10 minutes. Attached at the bottom of this indico page a map with a dotted line that guides you (the train arrives in the "Brussels North" station from the North). A taxi from the airport will cost around 45 euros and takes about 20 minutes.
