The 2013 edition of the Belgian Dutch German summer school (BND 2013) will take place from Sunday, the 25th of August to Wednesday, the 4th of September in Brussels at the Université Libre de Bruxelles. The school is intended primarily for experimental high energy physicists preparing a PhD, in particular during their first two years. The lectures cover both theoretical and experimental aspects of the field. The focus of the school alternates every year between electroweak standard model physics and strong interaction physics, together with related instrumentation subjects. This year the focus will be on electroweak physics, and on tracking as well as trigger and data acquisition.
